The Portugal D2 visa is for applicants who wish to establish business or expand their existing business in Portugal. The Global Peace Index has been ranking Portugal as the safest countries in the world since 2007. In 2019, Portugal came in fourth place, just behind Iceland, New Zealand and Austria.
This Visa enables the respective holder to obtain a residence permit in Portugal for a period of 2years, which can then be renewed for successive periods of 3 years and can be converted into a Permanent Residence Permit After 5 Years, and eventually Portuguese Citizenship.
